One of Singapore's most established tour operators will soon wind up business.
Tradewinds Tours & Travel, the tour operating arm of the
Singapore Airlines Group, will cease operations from 31 October 2022.
In an announcement made last week, the Singapore-based travel agency
announced that it will be suspending new bookings for all Tradewinds’
products and services for travel beyond 30 June 2022 with immediate
effect. The TMS platform will also be suspended by 30 June 2022.
“For existing confirmed bookings made prior to this announcement,
Tradewinds will endeavour to honour and fulfil these bookings for travel
and use up to 30 September 2022. If you have any, we will work with you
to make alternative arrangements for our mutual customers,” said Alan
Lim, general manager of Tradewinds in a statement.
The company will work on refund and cancellation requests for
confirmed bookings for travel up to 30 September as per existing
T&Cs.
Refund & cancellation requests for bookings for travel beyond 30
September 2022 should be submitted to Tradewinds by 30 June in order to
facilitate the waiver of any admin and service fees for eligible refunds
for confirmed bookings.
