Amsterdam-based tours and activities ticketing platform Tiqets and Hong Kong-based tours and activities OTA Klook have entered into a strategic partnership to connect their supply channels.

This strategic partnership is expected to give suppliers on both Klook and Tiqets’ platforms greater visibility and exposure in each company’s key markets, including access to museums and attractions-related experiences around the world.

Customers can now seamlessly book an expanded range of experiences available through either Klook or Tiqets, while museums, attractions and tour operators working with these platforms can significantly increase their reach, according to both partners.

“Through this partnership, our network of more than 4,000 of the best museums, attractions and tour operators that provide guided tours at these museums will benefit from greater visibility in the APAC market, and Tiqets will benefit from new supply that Klook already has connected,” said Tiqets president & founder Luuc Elzinga.

“This partnership with Tiqets opens new doors for both groups of customers to enjoy instant and seamless access to the widest selection of attractions and experiences across Asia Pacific and Europe,” added Wilfred Fan, chief commercial officer at Klook, which has quadrupled the number of activities on its platform over the last two years.

Both companies said they are seeing a recovery in bookings as the travel industry moves into the recovery phrase. Over the summer months, Tiqets saw a 220% surge in bookings in Europe and the UK alone. Similarly for Klook, the company has seen outbound bookings grow 11 times in the same period compared to earlier in the year.
