One year after Accor announced the signing of its latest deal in Thailand with luxury resort V Villas Phuket, the 19-pool villa resort has opened, under the French hospitality group's MGallery Hotel Collection.
The villas come in one-, three- and four-bedroom configurations, each offering floor-to-ceiling windows, vast en suite bathrooms with twin spa baths, private infinity pools, and 24-hour butler service.
Amenities include a gym, infinity pool, and as a nod to Thailand's pearl cultivating heritage, V Villas Spa offers wellness and beauty treatments inspired by European skincare and local pearl powders.
Situated on the Ao Yon hillside overlooking ocean views, V Villas Phuket - MGallery offers two dining options: tucking into Thai coastal cuisine and European-inspired dishes at Yon|Ocean House; or to AKOYA|Star Lounge which sits 55m above sea level and is a perfect sunset spot, or rooftop bar with 360-degree ocean and night sky views.
At the moment until 31 October, the resort is hosting a food pop-up event by former two Michelin-star Chef Thierry Drapeau, Executive Chef of Signature Bangkok Restaurant.
However, the opening is a downsize from original plans, which included 24-pool villas and five dining outlets.
