Accor is opening the first MGallery Resort in the Philippines, the
South Palms Resort Panglao Bohol. The five-star resort is scheduled to
open in 2024 on the island of Panglao, showcasing the island's cultural
attractions and natural wonders.
The South Palms Resort Panglao Bohol - MGallery is located on a
6.4-hectare property surrounded by palm trees and overlooking the
island's beach. The resort will offer 188 rooms, four restaurants, a
swimming pool, a pool bar, a fitness centre, and a spa. The resort will
also feature a ballroom and meeting rooms for events and meetings.
It is located less than 10 minutes' drive from Bohol-Panglao
International Airport, which offers direct flights to and from Manila
and other cities in the Philippines.
In line with its commitment to sustainability, the South Palms Resort
Panglao Bohol - MGallery has been designed with an innovative "adaptive
reuse" approach which involves reusing materials from village dwellings
to make every room unique and to tell the story of local artisans.
The resort is additionally being developed in consultation with local
artisans, vendors, farmers, and fishing communities. It will also be
surrounded by extensive leisure and MICE facilities, provided by Panglao
Shores, a new lifestyle destination.
Accor current has 10 hotels, resorts, and branded residences in the
Philippines, with a pipeline of 16 hotels scheduled to open in the next
five years. The South Palms Resort Panglao Bohol - MGallery is the
second MGallery branded property in the Philippines, joining the Admiral
Hotel Manila - MGallery.
