Ram Hiralal has been appointed general manager at Jumeirah Bali, a new contemporary luxury resort in Uluwatu.
Hiralal joins the 123-villa oceanfront Jumeirah Bali following her
appointment at Como Shambhala Estate Bali resort, where she took the
lead of the wellness-centric resort as general manager from 2018.
The seasoned hotelier brings with her a wealth of knowledge in the
luxury hospitality sector from her past experience working in hotels
across Bali, Thailand, Malaysia, Maldives and the Caribbean.
After graduating with a degree in rooms management from Cornell
University, Hiralal kicked offer her career in hospitality in Malaysia
where she worked at numerous five-star hotels in Kuala Lumpur, and she
also played a part in planning for the opening of Como Parrot Cay resort
in Turks and Caicos.
In 2003, she became director of rooms at Four Seasons Resort Maldives
at Landaa Giraavaru, before being promoted to resort manager. Hiralal
was then tasked to manage Four Seasons Resort Bali at Sayan and Four
Seasons Resort Koh Samui in Thailand.
