The Fullerton Hotels and Resorts has appointed Gino Tan as country general manager, where he would helm the leadership teams in The Fullerton Hotel Singapore, The Fullerton Bay Hotel Singapore and The Fullerton Hotel Sydney.

Tan is a seasoned hotelier with almost 30 years of experience in operational and marketing roles in the hospitality sector. Prior to joining The Fullerton Hotels and Resorts as country general manager, Tan served at Pan Pacific Hotels Group for over seven years.

He was vice president of hotel operations at Pan Pacific Hotel Group. Prior to that, he held dual roles as area general manager of the group’s five hotels in Singapore and general manager of Pan Pacific Singapore, the group’s flagship hotel.

Tan had also served as general manager across various hotels in London, Beijing, and Dalian. His career in hospitality started off at Raffles Hotels & Resorts where he rose through the ranks and became the resident manager at Raffles Singapore and the former Raffles Beijing Hotel.

“I am delighted to come full circle in my career as both hotels in Singapore are steeped in our country’s heritage and culture,” said Tan. “I look forward to leveraging the talent and resources of our teams in Singapore and Sydney to build upon the success the Fullerton brand has attained through its signature hospitality and distinctive positioning of its landmark properties.”
