Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has appointed Mark Willis as CEO and Yigit Sezgin as chief brand & commercial officer to drive the luxury brand's global portfolio of over 100 hotels.

Willis brings over three decades of experience to the table, having worked with well-known international hospitality brands such as IHG, Sun International, and the Radisson Hotel Group.

Throughout Willis’ career, he has held various leadership positions, including senior vice president for the Middle East, Africa, and Turkey at the Radisson Hotel Group. In his new role, Willis will be responsible for leading Fairmont's worldwide operations and developing new strategies to enhance the brand's reputation as a leading luxury hotel chain.

Yigit Sezgin will take on the role of chief brand & commercial officer, overseeing the entire brand and commercial strategy.

With more than 25 years of experience working with international luxury brands across eight cities, including the Ritz-Carlton, Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, and BLG Capital Fund, Sezgin will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing and commercial strategies to ensure that the brand stays ahead of its competitors.
