MIAMI – Cruise industry veteran Carlos Torres de Navarra has been named CEO of Holistica, the destination company recently formed by Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd and privately-held ITM Group.
He joins the company from previous stints at the world’s two largest cruise companies, Carnival Cruise Line and Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. His 20 years of experience includes numerous financial, commercial, strategic and business development roles.
Prior to Holistica, Mr Torres de Navarra was most recently vice president of global port and destination development for Carnival Corporation and was previously vice president of strategic and commercial port development for Carnival Cruise Line.
He has also spent seven years with Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. as assistant treasurer involved in business development, liquidity and capital planning, financial risk management, acquisitions, as well as port development.
A south Florida native, Mr Torres de Navarra will report to the Holistica board and will be based in Miami, Florida.
