Ticketing solutions provider, Hahn Air, has appointed Arsenio (Zen) Cabanilla Jr. as the new regional vice president for Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mongolia, the Philippines, and Thailand.

In his new role, Arsenio will be responsible for assisting travel agents in utilising Hahn Air's ticketing solutions to increase their sales, as well as providing support with training, presentations, targeted sales and marketing activities, and developing strategic alliances with local trade.

Kimberley Long, vice president agency distribution, believes Arsenio's broad background in tourism will be a good fit with the company as he will be working closely with regional vice president An Ngo, who is responsible for East Asia and Vietnam. Arsenio has a very broad background in tourism which will allow him to assume various perspectives and bring in fresh ideas. He will be an asset for our agency partners and for Hahn Air.”

Arsenio counts previous industry experience with Legend Hotels International, Philippine Airlines, and an online travel agency.

“Having worked in the tourism sector for several years, I am of course familiar with Hahn Air and its distribution solutions for travel agencies and airlines. But I also understand the needs of travel agencies and OTAs with regards to selling flights through the GDSs. Therefore, I am very excited to join the Hahn Air team, to communicate the Hahn Air benefits to travel agents and to support them in growing their revenues”, said Arsenio.

Hahn Air provides access to more than 350 partner airlines via the HR-169 ticket to over 100,000 travel agencies in 190 markets. This allows travel agencies to choose from a wide range of payment options and book over 90 carriers under the codes X1 and H1 that would otherwise be unavailable through the GDS.
