Sunway Pyramid Hotel West in Kuala Lumpur’s Sunway City will be re-named Sunway Clio Hotel, effective October 1, 2016.

The 26-storey 4-star hotel, part of an integrated development in Sunway City, opened on February 19 this year.

Sunway Hotels & Resorts, the hospitality arm of Sunway Group, has announced that Sunway Pyramid Hotel West in Kuala Lumpur will be renamed Sunway Clio Hotel from October 1.

The 26-storey 4-star hotel, part of an integrated development in Sunway City, opened on February 19 this year.

The re-naming is said to allow the hotels within the integrated development – Sunway Clio Hotel, 5-star flagship Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa and soon-to-be-opened 4-star Sunway Pyramid Hotel – to further differentiate and scale up its offerings while retaining its iconic Egyptian-inspired architecture and destination characteristics, according to the release.

This will be applied to all communication and booking channels, signage and operational items.
