Sheraton's transformation underway across Greater China

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts, which boasts eight properties in Greater China, has unveiled a transformation for its portfolio in the region.

Sheraton Guangzhou Hotel, Sheraton Mianyang, Sheraton Zhaoqing Dinghu, and Sheraton Chengdu Pidu are four properties which have already completed their makeover.

"Following the transformation of four incredible hotels across Greater China, we're excited to welcome these four additional hotels in the region entering a new chapter showcasing the brand's new vision," said Amanda Nichols, global brand leader of Sheraton Hotels & Resorts.

Sheraton’s transformation is based off creating community spaces for guests to relax, connect or work. The brand has also integrated more seamless technology and made updates to its F&B offerings.

Sheraton has plans to continue its transformation journey in the region with the addition of new hotels like Sheraton Beihai Resort and Sheraton Lanzhou Anning.

Sheraton Xi'an Chanba

Opening soon is the 228-key Sheraton Xi'an Chanba provides a range of different accommodations from residential-style guest rooms to suites. The hotel’s design concept is inspired by the Xi’an’s history and culture, especially that of the Tang Dynasty.

F&B establishments comprise a bar and three restaurants with locally sourced produce. Amenities include a heated indoor swimming pool and 24-hour gym, both featuring floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the city. There’s also Sheraton Club, an exclusive space for Marriott Bonvoy Elite members and Club level guests, equipped with a bar for guests to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or cocktails in the evening.

Sheraton Xi'an South offers 321 guest rooms and suites in the Xi'an Software New City in Xi'an Hi-tech Industries Development Zone, home to many Fortune 500 enterprises. Guest rooms are furnished with new and modern amenities aimed at increasing work productivity like height adjustable working tables, integrated power and charging, and layered lighting.

There are three F&B options – local gourmet market themed Daily Social; Chinese poetry inspired YUE; and an intimate bar Unspoken. Additional facilities include a Grand Ballroom, five meeting rooms, and a gym.

Sheraton Ningbo Xiangshan Resort

Sheraton Ningbo Xiangshan Resort is located along the coastline in Xiangshan. Its interiors are inspired by the rock formations in the area and the local fishing heritage. The resort has 270 guest rooms and suites, with some attached to an outdoor balcony and most with floor-to-ceiling windows that look out to the sea or mountains.

Sheraton Ningbo Xiangshan Resort offers two dining outlets – Daily Social and YUE – and a dessert house Sweet Box.

Located in Nanjing's financial and commercial centre is Sheraton Nanjing Kingsley Hotel & Towers. Its renovation involved combining the hotel's 20-plus years history into a concept that matches the lifestyle of modern travellers.

The lobby has been reimagined into an open, shared space, and the hotel boasts a tech-enabled Studios. Other facilities include the all-day dining restaurant Daily Social, YUE Chinese restaurant, Danny's Irish Restaurant & Pub, the Sheraton Towers Lounge, and &More by Sheraton.
