The Park Hotel Alexandra in Singapore will temporarily shut its doors from 26 August for refurbishments, and a name change.
When the hotel reopens in Q1 2023, in its place will stand the
Momentus Hotel Alexandra. The revamped and rebranded 442-key property
will offer a relaxing sanctuary for both business and leisure
travellers, featuring a new look for the guest rooms, lobby, and F&B
establishments.
Owned by Momentus Hospitality Ptd Ltd (“Momentus Hospitality”), a subsidiary of Chip Eng Seng Group,
Momentus Hotel Alexandra aims to be at the forefront of delivering
innovative and quality tourism experience to travellers, with more
details on its new offerings to be unveiled soon.
“Given the expected uptrend in the global tourism and hospitality
sector, Momentus Hotel Alexandra, which is owner-operated, is well
positioned to play a key role in the big reset of the hospitality
sector,” says Angeline Tan, VP of CES Hospitality.
“During this temporary closure of the Hotel, all employees will
undergo training and upskilling, and prepare for the launch of the newly
branded hotel,” Tan added. “We are committed to driving technology
innovation and adoption, implementing sustainable solutions, as well as
job redesign for employees so as to improve productivity and
competitiveness.”
