Accor has selected Singapore to be the first destination in Asia for the debut of Novotel Living. This new brand emerged following a soft refurbishment to the property previously named ‘8 on Claymore Singapore managed by Accor’.

Novotel Living is designed as an extended stay brand for travellers who want to stay longer, while offering the comforts of home. Garth Simmons, CEO of Accor Southeast Asia, Japan & South Korea describes the property to be “the perfect concept to meet evolving guest expectations, offering surroundings which immediately create a sense of home.”

All of the property’s rooms and public areas have been given a refresh. New features include the fully refurbished relay lobby, located on the first floor; the Clubhouse, a lounge where guests can access a bright and airy space; a pool with cabanas; and a gym.

The 85-room Novotel Living Singapore Orchard offers a range of modern accommodation, from executive studios to two- and three-bedroom apartments. Rooms feature spacious living areas, fully equipped kitchens, and in-room laundry facilities.

Corporate travellers and digital nomads can opt for rooms furnished with Herman Miller chairs and electric height adjustable tables for a more comfortable remote working experience.

Novotel Living Singapore Orchard is located in Singapore’s prime Orchard Road district: a five-minute walk from Orchard train station, and in close proximity to a multitude of shopping malls, restaurants, bars and entertainment.

“Singapore is a strategic destination in Southeast Asia and a sought-after stopover for all types of travellers from around the globe,” said Simmons. “The launch of Novotel Living Singapore Orchard reaffirms our positive outlook towards inbound travel into the country.”

Novotel Living Singapore Orchard will join Accor’s portfolio of 27 properties in Singapore across the Raffles, Fairmont, Sofitel, Swissôtel, Novotel, Mercure and ibis brands.
