Momentus Hospitality, a new player in the Asian hospitality industry,
has officially launched its first flagship hotel, the Momentus Hotel
Alexandra, on 1 March.
The hotel is designed to reimagine the guest experience in the
post-pandemic era with a focus on relaxation, purpose, and nature. The
Momentus Hotel Alexandra, located at Alexandra Road, is a 442-key
property that caters to both business and leisure guests who want to be
close to the city while still enjoying the comforts of the Singaporean
heartland.

The hotel lobby is designed with an air of elegance and spaciousness,
welcoming guests with its high ceiling and comfortable brown tones. It
boasts a feature wall aimed at setting the tone for a memorable stay
experience. Additionally, the hotel offers both physical and app-based
contactless check-ins for the convenience of its guests.

Each room in the Momentus Hotel Alexandra is designed with a
contemporary decor that exudes calmness and comfort. Guests can enjoy an
abundance of natural light and modern amenities, including rain showers
and in-room entertainment.
One of the hotel's highlights is the seventh level, which is
transformed into a destination in itself by the renowned design
collective Social F+B By Design. The level features a 25-metre-long
infinity pool with sprawling views of South-western Singapore. The pool
is surrounded by two F&B outlets, the Verandah Pool Bar and Grill
and the Verandah Rooftop Rotisserie, which offer premium cuts, roasts,
wood-fire pizzas, and bar bites.
Guests seeking privacy and exclusivity can upgrade to the Momentum
Club, which provides personalised check-in and check-out, breakfast
buffets, all-day refreshments, evening cocktails, and access to the
Momentum Club Lounge at level 19.
Momentus Hotel Alexandra is committed to providing an exceptional
guest experience by initiating a comprehensive training and development
programme for its staff. Front office members will assume concierge
duties, technicians will be dual-trained as craftsmen, and the sales
team will be dual-trained in both room and banquet sales and equipped to
handle digital marketing.
The hotel also offers counselling services, a mentorship program, and
a well-defined career pathway to support its staff's growth and
development.

The verandah pool bar and grill.
The hotel is committed to sustainable outcomes, reflected in its
design and operations. It uses in-room smart digital thermostats and
anti-thermal coatings on the property's facades for efficient energy use
without compromising guest comfort. The hotel also deploys vinyl
flooring to reduce the need for high-energy vacuuming and installs
recycling bins in every guest room. It plans to eliminate the use of
nearly a million plastic bottles per year by reducing single-use
plastics, using filtration taps for drinking water, and installing
permanent dispensers for cleansing products. The hotel also uses
biodegradable materials for dry bathroom amenities and implements a
waste tracker to minimize food wastage.
