Mike Fulkerson, vice president, brand & marketing, Asia-Pacific, Marriot International, said four more signed projects are in the pipeline, “appealing to a new generation of health-conscious guests”.
“It's a fresh and vibrant brand that appeals to long-stay business travellers as well as the growing market of multi-generational family travellers in Asia.
“Having a kitchenette to prepare fresh meals and free bikes to borrow are great for families and active professionals, because time away from home shouldn't mean time away from life,” said Fulkerson.
Jimmy Xue, general manager, Element Foshan Nanhai, added, “These days, travellers are trying to stay healthy whilst on the road and it's no exception in China.”
Located in Shishan Town, the hotel is a direct 40-minute drive from downtown Guangzhou, with access to Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport and Foshan Shadi Airport.
The brand’s hotels in the pipeline include Element Chongli in ski resort town Zhangjiakou, beachside Element Sanya Haitang Bay in Sanya, Element Tianjin Beicheng in Tianjin, and Element Yinchuan Binhe in Ningxia.
