In celebration of its reopening, Village Hotel Sentosa is launching a Village Playcation package from now through 23 December for a family of up to four to enjoy a two-night stay with a range of activities to select from.

Upon entering the hotel lobby, children will be greeted by the hotel’s mascots — Village Explorers Vin and Vee — alongside scrumptious treats and fun activities including unlimited ice cream and popcorn, a ballroom sculpting booth and more while the parents can head over to the counter for check-in.

As part of the Village Playcation package, the Mini Hotelier experience is designed to provide educational adventures for children, spurring their imaginations and creativity while also opening their eyes to the different career paths in hospitality. Under the Mini Hotelier experience, children can choose to role-play as an artist, a housekeeper, an engineer, a chef or even a gardener.

It’s not just kids who will be kept entertained at Village Hotel Sentosa. Besides kid-friendly experiences, the hotel also offers an array of complimentary activities for the whole family, such as family aqua zumba, evening outdoor movie screening by the pool deck, resin art, sand art and pilates for kids.

The Village Playcation package starts from SG$1,180 (US$840) and comes inclusive of daily breakfast for 4 pax, a choice of one Mini Hotelier experience, complimentary access to unlimited ‘playtivities’ and up to 25% discount at participating F&B outlets and Sentosa attractions.

A stone’s throw away from Village Hotel Sentosa is the adults-only 1-Altitude Day Club at The Outpost Hotel, where travellers staying nearby can party the day away free from kids. This rooftop bar cum day club houses a swimming pool overlooking the Singapore Straits and a Latin-Mediterranean bistro. A private dining experience will soon be introduced later this year.

Poolside menus feature modern Asian dishes such as salmon tartare with wasabi, chilli crab pasta, barbecued meats, seafood and vegetables. Tipples comprise of tropical-inspired cocktails such as a fig-infused peated whisky with maple syrup, pineapple and lime.

Guests can book the private cabanas during themed events, ranging from sundown parties to Ladies’ Day Out. There will be music playing around noon, starting with tropical house before transitioning into afro beats in the evening, followed by house and electro-pop at night. Resident DJs include Tony Tay, who spun at Zouk Singapore for 14 years.

Other than parties, guests can also expect wellness programmes at 1-Altitude Coast including sunrise yoga and meditation sessions.
