Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok partially opens with F&B and spa offerings
Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok, set in the centre of Bangkok’s upscale Langsuan neighbourhood and just steps away from the Lumphini Park, has partially opened since 1 August 2020 with selected services.
The Lobby Lounge is now open for a la carte and weekend afternoon tea, Firefly Bar for evening cocktails, and Sindhorn Wellness by Resense, a two-floor boutique fitness facilities with Geneva-based Resense international wellness company.
Opening on 12 August will be Loukjaan by Saneh Jaan, helmed by one-Michelin-star Saneh Jaan, serving contemporary Royal Thai cuisine for lunch and dinner.
The hotel’s other services, including other restaurants, meetings rooms, guest rooms and suites and the whole Sindhorn Wellness by Resense will open later this year in October.
The hotel marks the second project between Kempinski Hotels and Siam Sindhorn Company in Thailand, the first being the established Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok.

Fraser Suites Akasaka has opened its doors on 7 August 2020 in Tokyo’s upscale commercial and residential district of Akasaka, offering access to major transportation hubs, foreign embassies, the Tokyo Broadcasting System Television as well as major local and multinational corporations.
Fully furnished deluxe rooms, studios and one-bedroom apartments in the 22-floor Fraser Suites Akasaka, Tokyo range from 32sqm to 60sqm. The apartments are outfitted with kitchenettes, rain showers, bathtubs, state-of-the-art home entertainment systems, with large bay windows that offer views of the city skyline, the Tokyo Skytree and Mount Fuji.
The property offers a restaurant serving Japanese and Italian seasonal fare as well as lifestyle and wellness facilities including a 24/7 gym, a golf simulator and The Retreat, a relaxation space with massage chairs.

Ascott's first lyf property in Thailand, lyf Sukhumvit 8 Bangkok, has opened its doors on 31 July 2020, marking the coliving brand's second property after lyf Funan Singapore which opened in September 2019.
The 196-unit lyf Sukhumvit 8 Bangkok is surrounded by a plethora of cafes, bars and restaurants, and is within walking distance to the Nana BTS Skytrain station and one train stop from Terminal 21, one of the most well-known shopping destinations in Bangkok.
Archipelago International adds a trio of hotels in Indonesia
Indonesia-based Archipelago International has recently added three new properties -- ASTON Bellevue Radio Dalam, ASTON Inn Gideon Batam and favehotel Bitung -- to its portfolio of 150-plus hotels.
A newly rebranded property, Aston Bellevue Radio Dalam boasts 156 guest rooms and suites, a variety of meeting and function rooms, a signature restaurant, a lounge and wine bar.
Aston Inn Gideon Batam is Archipelago's second hotel in Batam, featuring 163 modern guest rooms, a large ballroom, two meeting rooms. It is located in the Penuin area, close to shopping, dining and entertainment.
Favehotel Bitung has 96 guest rooms, an outdoor swimming pool, the signature Lime Restaurant and a number of meeting rooms with panoramic views of Bitung.
