With a concept that allows for guests to move into fully furnished
living spaces for both short- to long-term stays, Hmlet is sticking to
its tried-and-tested method for its first hotel that will debut in
Singapore in February.
Owen House by Hmlet aims to suit the needs of travellers seeking
flexible stay experiences, be they holidaymakers looking to spend
several days in Singapore or the business traveller posted to the
country for a period of time. It will join the Hmlet Boutique
Collection, following the launch of Hmlet Cantonment in August 2019.
“Following our learnings from Hmlet Cantonment, we acquired
invaluable insights to the flexible living business model,” said Giselle
Makarachvili, CEO of Hmlet. “We have conceptualised Owen House by Hmlet
as our first hotel to cater to the growing need for flexible stay
experiences.”

The deluxe queen room comes with an option for a balcony.
“Our extensive room typologies and spacious designs offer greater
personalisation for guests with different hospitality needs without
compromising their personal lifestyle," added Makarachvili. “This
strategic move reinforces Hmlet’s role as a thoughtful steward of
flexible accommodations and co-living solutions for a new generation of
travellers.”
Located a stone’s throw away from Farrer Park, Owen House offers 106 rooms across nine different room categories:
• Deluxe Queen (with balcony options) and Twin rooms (18-26 sqm)
• Studio rooms with balcony options (23-25 sqm)
• Junior and Owen Suites (28-41 sqm)
• Family Room with Balcony (38 sqm)
• Two-Bedroom Deluxe and Suite (42-52 sqm)
Every room will include ensuite bathrooms, rain showers, toiletries,
in-room safe, mini bar, designated working areas and housekeeping
services. Selected rooms will be equipped with kitchenettes and pantry
areas.
Owen House also stays true to Hmlet’s co-living concept. There will
be a speakeasy bar in the lobby that is open to the public, two communal
lounges exclusively for guests, and a meeting room.
