Hmlet, a flexible living hospitality concept, has unveiled plans for expansion across Asia with the addition of three new properties in Hong Kong and Japan in the first half of 2023.

The company's CEO, Giselle Makarachvili, said the expansion is driven by the brand's mission to change the way people live, providing flexible living solutions to a broad range of customers.

Hmlet Asakusa Tawaramachi is a pet-friendly property that opened its doors in Taito-Ku, Tokyo in January 2023. The property opened in January 2023, and a minimum stay of one month is required.

Hmlet Portland, situated in Hong Kong's bustling Mong Kok area, is set to open in Q2 2023. The property is designed primarily for local professionals and young expatriates seeking flexible lease periods and easy access to public transportation. The property's 37 small and medium-sized rooms, ranging from 11 to 21 square metres, are located on the fourth to 15th floors. Communal spaces on the second and third levels include a communal pantry with two separate cooking areas with a bar counter, a locker and laundry room, shared living space, and an outdoor lounge area.
