After an extended pandemic-related closure, the Hilton New York Times Square in midtown Manhattan has reopened its doors.

The 478-room property, which is located along 42nd Street between Seventh Avenue and Eighth Avenue, shuttered in 2020 and was once rumored to be at risk of closing permanently.

Also reopening are the hotel's food and beverage venues, which includes Restaurant Above, where guests are served a daily breakfast buffet, and a grab-and-go market featuring salads and sandwiches.

The property's Pinnacle Bar, meanwhile, is set to reopen later this year.

In a statement, Danny Hughes, Hilton's executive vice president and its president for the Americas, said that the Hilton New York Times Square's reopening "demonstrates our confidence in the resurgence of this iconic neighborhood."
