Hilton Grand Vacations announces first timeshare resort in Asia

Mori Trust will construct the development comprising a 132-unit timeshare resort owned and managed by Hilton Grand Vacations planned for 2021, as well as 300-room Hilton Okinawa Sesoko Resort set to open in 2020. The development is located close to a number of attractions including the beaches of northern Okinawa, which are within easy reach. 

Mori Trust, Hilton Grand Vacations (HGV) and Hilton have entered an agreement to construct a new mixed-use development on Sesokojima Island in Okinawa. The agreement marks the first announced dedicated timeshare resort in the Japanese market by Hilton Grand Vacations.

Mori Trust will construct the development comprising a 132-unit timeshare resort owned and managed by Hilton Grand Vacations planned for 2021, as well as 300-room Hilton Okinawa Sesoko Resort set to open in 2020. The development is located close to a number of attractions including the beaches of northern Okinawa, which are within easy reach. 

Ownership of the resort is on a timeshare basis and slots can be purchased on a weekly basis. Accommodations are one-, two- and three-bedroom units which offer private balconies and full kitchens.

Hilton has more than 56,000 Club Member families in Japan, with Okinawa being a top requested domestic destination.
