Vietnam-based hospitality and management company Fusion Hotel Group
has unveiled its latest venture - HIIVE Hotels, a brand catering to
business travellers.
The first property under this new brand, HIIVE Binh Duong, is a
172-room hotel situated in the Vietnam Singapore Industrial Park 1 (VSIP
1) in Thuan An, Binh Duong. The hotel is conveniently located near Aeon
Mall, Song Be Golf Resort, and is just an hour away from Ho Chi Minh
City's international airport.
Designed to cater to the needs of both work and leisure travellers,
HIIVE Binh Duong boasts spacious rooms for longer stays, flexible
meeting spaces, co-working areas, an all-day dining restaurant, a sports
bar, a golf simulator, a 24-hour fitness centre, and guest laundry
facilities on every floor.
Binh Duong is quickly emerging as a main manufacturing hub located
just outside Ho Chi Minh City, with a steady increase of foreign
investment and business travel into Vietnam, said Christopher Hur,
president of Lodgis Hospitality Holdings, the parent company of Fusion.
“The strong growth in business travel and demand for international
standards of service and accommodation makes HIIVE an ideal offering. We
look to establish HIIVE as the preferred hotel for today's regional
business traveller.”
The 11-floor property boasts contemporary interiors with a stylish
industrial vibe in the common areas and softer, more neutral tones in
the rooms. The hotel offers five room categories, ranging from the
entry-level Superior rooms to spacious Suites with fully equipped
kitchenettes and living areas. Each room is equipped with energy
management solutions, reflective window coverings, and heat-proofing to
maintain a comfortable internal temperature.
The three meeting rooms feature whiteboard walls, flexible layouts,
and modern audio-visual technology, accommodating small groups of up to
100 people in the largest room. Co-working spaces cater to various
preferences, from private areas for focused work to communal spaces that
encourage interaction among guests.
Sustainability remains a core focus for HIIVE hotels, with LED
lighting, water-efficient sanitary ware, interior finishes using
renewable materials, and the installation of a centralised water
filtration system with refill stations, aiming to reduce plastic bottle
waste and operational costs while enhancing employee and guest health.
Peter Meyer, CEO of Lodgis and Fusion Hotel Group, commented, "In an
era when the boundaries between work and play have become blurred, we
wanted to create spaces that satisfy these two needs."
Looking ahead, the second HIIVE hotel, HIIVE Binh Duong New City (VSIP 2), is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2024.
