BANGKOK - Dusit has signed a long-term agreement to develop and operate Dusit Tu Hoa Palace, Hanoi, in the city’s affluent Tay Ho District.

The 207-room hotel at the northern end of the city’s largest freshwater lake, West Lake, will offer an all-day dining restaurant, rooftop bar, meeting rooms and a swimming pool.

Lim Boon Kwee, chief operating officer, Dusit International said Hanoi “keeps going from strength to strength”.

“The country’s strong GDP growth rate is also driving a rapidly growing segment of high-spending domestic tourists,” he added.

“With this in mind, now is the perfect time to expand our operations in Vietnam’s capital city and strengthen our brand for further growth in Vietnam.”

Last year Hanoi welcomed more than six million foreign visitors in the first 11 months – up 12% year-on-year.

The hotel is being developed by General Technology Joint Stock Company.
