Dior has opened a pop-up store and café in Bali, with the partial
buyout of Sundara Beach Club at Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran
Bay.
The Dior pop-up store is open daily from 30 June to 12 August.
Extending over two stories and more than 1,300sqm, the café is meant to
serve as a showcase for the new Dioriviera Collection 2022.
The entrance to Dior’s pop-up store on Sundara’s Mezzanine has been
specially redesigned to feature the collection’s jungle theme, with
life-size sculptures of wild animals popping out from tropical foliage.
All of the Mezzanine level’s furniture, interior wall partitions and
16 chandeliers have been completely removed, and in the space now stands
Dior’s themed furniture, merchandising displays, fitting rooms and a
café. The animal sculptures, walls, ceilings, poolside daybeds and chair
cushions are also emblazoned in the Dioriviera’s toile de Jouy print
for the duration of the six-week-long event.
While Sundara continues serving its international cuisine alongside
grilled dishes at its main dining areas on the ground level, the Dior
Café on the Mezzanine offers an exclusive Mediterranean-inspired menu
for breakfast, lunch and dinner created by Four Seasons executive pastry
chef David Peduzzi and Sundara chef de cuisine David Gavin who tapped
on their French training and experience to meet Dior’s requirements for
the menu.
“The scale of this high-end lifestyle event is a first for Bali,
resulting from a landmark collaboration between Dior and Four Seasons
Jimbaran Bay based on shared goals of delivering excellence in service
and attention to detail,” says Mathilde Adam, senior director sales and
marketing at Four Seasons Resorts Bali. “We are thrilled to be selected
as the venue for Dior’s first pop-up store and concept café in
Indonesia, reflecting the renewed confidence of the international luxury
market as Bali re-emerges with optimism, open arms, and the
once-in-a-lifetime experiences that our Resorts offer.”
This first-time Dior event comes to Bali as Four Seasons Resort
Jimbaran Bay welcomes new general manager Randy Shimabuku, after his
appointment as general manager of Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda
Huraa.
