Dorsett Hospitality International is adding to its presence in London
with the opening later this year of Dao by Dorsett in the
heritage-listed Hornsey Town Hall.
The restored Town Hall building in North London will host a unique
aparthotel concept where 68 apartments will span four floors and will
include a mix of studios and one-bedroom apartments, many of which, such
as the old Borough Treasurer’s room, include original ironmongery and
timber panelling.
Located at the heart of Crouch End, which has good transport links to
central London, the development will bring together modern apartment
living, co-working spaces, restaurants and cafes, a rooftop bar and a
new Arts Centre.
The Arts Centre will host a programme of high-quality performances
and events, from theatre and film to music, dance, comedy, and shows run
by arts and media specialists, Time + Space Co.
In the warmer months, activity will spill out onto Town Hall Square
for summer fairs, exhibitions, local farmers’ markets and community
festivals.
Dao by Dorsett Hornsey Town Hall and Dorsett Shepherd’s Bush will
later be joined by Dorsett Alpha Square, Canary Wharf, part of Far East
Consortium’s upcoming triple tower development.
