Hilton partners Interglobe Enterprises; enters spa market

NEW DELHI - Starting June 4, Hilton Reservations Worldwide (HRW) will take calls on its toll free network launched in India, following a strategic partnership with Interglobe Enterprises for sales and reservations in India.

Interglobe Air Transport president and CEO, Ashok Fenn told travelweeklyeast: "This is our first foray into the hotel arena. We aim to be market leaders and to ensure the Hilton brand is established as far as travel agents and corporations are concerned."

In other news, Hilton International has tied up with World Resorts to manage the 150-room Hilton Golden Palms Resort & Spa Bangalore. The resort is initially being marketed for strategic meetings and executive retreats.

According to vice president operations Asia, Simon Barlow, Hilton will soon announce a "world-renowned spa operating company tie-up for Golden Palms."
