Hilton Beijing gets face-lift(1)

BEIJING - The Hilton Beijing will undergo a US$12.5 million facelift in two phases starting this month. The first phase is the revamping of half of the hotels 340 guest rooms scheduled for completion by March 2006.


Rooms will be equipped with modern conveniences such as high-speed Internet access and an LCD screen in the bathroom of all Executive Rooms and suites.

The second phase will see the completion of the remaining guest rooms, the construction of an additional 20 guest rooms and a new Hilton Meetings facility, and the refurbishment of the Executive Lounge and Ballroom.

Simultaneously, Hilton Beijing will overhaul all four food and beverage outlets and the project is scheduled for completion mid 2005.
