Harbour Plaza opens new HK hotel

HONG KONG - Harbour Plaza Metropolis Kowloon has announced it will soft-open in Hong Kong this Friday. The four-star 690-room property sits adjacent to Kowloon-Canton Railway Station and Hong Kong Coliseum and will target mainland Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Taiwanese business travellers, according to Cherry Ma, a spokeswoman for the hotel. Romain Chan, previously general manager of Shangri-La Golden Flower Hotel in Xian, China, joins as general manager. Celia Mak, joins as director of sales and marketing from Regal Hong Kong Hotel where she held the same position.
