KUALA LUMPUR – Hand luggage of passengers on Europe-bound flights will be searched thoroughly following the bomb threat at Heathrow Airport yesterday, said Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd. It advises passengers to check in for their flights early to minimise flight delays. Meanwhile, Malaysia Airlines announced that all its flights to London would continue to operate as scheduled. MAS senior general manager of communications, Indira Nair, said passengers arriving in London for onward connections to their final destinations could also expect more stringent security checks. "All other cabin baggage will be processed as check-in baggage and uplifted accordingly," said Indira.
