Ronnie Ho, managing director of Jetour

Tommy Tam, executive director and general manager of Arrow Travel

Lam Siu Lun, managing director of Hong Kong Link Tourism

Patrick Yeung, managing director of Cathay Pacific Holidays

Patrick Yeung is the newest face to the board, having served just one year. Both Ronnie Ho and Tommy Tam are now entering their eighth year, and Lam Siu Lun his second.

Yeung says his objective as board member is to ensure that TIC offers more transparency to the trade and propose that members only be allowed to serve a maximum two years consecutively to encourage more people to join. Yeung also stressed the importance of joining together with academics to look closely at how the travel trade is evolving.
“If the issue of zero-fare is too sensitive to talk about and act on, we can’t get anywhere,” he said.
