HONG KONG - HK SAR (Hong Kong Special Administrative Region) passport holders are now allowed visa-free entry for up to three months into Andorra, a small, mountainous region in southwestern Europe between France and Spain.

It is a reciprocal visa agreement with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Andorra, as Andorra nationals are also allowed visa-free access into Hong Kong for the same length of stay. Andorra now becomes the 109th destination granting visa-free access to HKSAR passport holders.

Tourism accounts for approximately 80 percent of Andorra's GDP. Each year, the tiny territory of 468,000 sqm receives approximately nine million tourists. The major appeal of the region are its five ski resorts and duty-free shopping.
