Gulf, Saudi head for Nepal

BAHRAIN - Gulf Air and Saudi Arabian Airlines this week launched joint operations with the inaugural flight out of Dammam, Saudi Arabia to the Nepalese capital, Kathmandu.

A code sharing and marketing agreement means that Gulf becomes the first GCC carrier to be allowed to operate direct international flights out of an airport in Saudi Arabia.

The twice-weekly flights out of Dammam through Abu Dhabi to Kathmandu are operated by B767.
