KUWAIT CITY - Marriott International has opened the first Courtyard by Marriott branded hotel in the Middle East.
The 23-story, 298-room Kuwait Courtyard by Marriott Hotel is part of a 75,000sqm, multi-use project at the eastern entrance of Kuwait City that includes the Arraya Shopping Center, the Arraya Convention Center and the Arraya Office Tower, a plaza of coffee shops, dining outlets, and a multi-story parking garage for 1,400 vehicles.
“The Arraya Convention Hall by Marriott is the largest meeting space in the center of Kuwait City with the capacity to host 1,500 people,” said Thomas Beuhner, general manager. Huda Malhas is the director of marketing.
Courtyard by Marriott hotels are aimed at business and leisure travelers who seek dependable and consistent, high quality accommodations and services in a comfortable atmosphere.
For recreation, the hotel offers an outdoor temperature regulated swimming pool, a state-of-the-art health club, sauna, whirlpool, Jacuzzi, and a small spa with massage and beauty treatments.
For dining and entertainment, the Kuwait Courtyard by Marriott offers the Atrium Restaurant and lobby lounge in an eight-story atrium and the International restaurant that overlooks the city. 24-hour room service is also available.
The hotel has 900sqm of meeting space that comprises five individual meeting rooms in varying configurations.
