HONG KONG – Costa Cruises has announced that a new unit called World Wide Sales Services (WWSS) has been set up to help achieve global sales objectives. Massimo Brancaleoni, who was previously vice president of Costa Cruises’ Pacific Asia Operations, will head the new unit, and will be based in the company’s headquarters in Genoa, Italy.

As vice president WWSS, Brancaleoni will be responsible for supporting Costa Cruises’ commercial organisations worldwide through the newly created WWSS department, which will facilitate sales processes, implement best practices and optimise shared services.

Following the move, Leo Liu, general manager of Costa Cruises China, and Dario Rustico, sales and marketing director of the company’s Pacific Asia Operations, will report directly to president of Costa Cruises, Gianni Onorato.

The new WWSS department will operate with internal structures, including the electronic groups and channels, sales community, global contact centre, and deployment and itineraries.
