4 January 2002PHILADELPHIA - In another indication that travel
business is showing signs of recovery, Rosenbluth
International has recalled nearly 300 of the 800 employees
it stood down after September 11.
The travel management firm also said it would reinstate
all pay to levels prior to the cuts instituted after the
terrorist attacks in New York and Washington. Agent
salaries had been cut 10 percent.
"Business conditions have improved and the decisive
actions taken by our leadership in 2001 have allowed us to
return to normalcy," said chairman and CEO Hal
Rosenbluth.
