SINGAPORE - KLM Royal Dutch Airlines is the first airline carrier in Singapore to implement a best price guarantee for tickets purchased on its website, klm.com.sg.
In addition to the guarantee, KLM has also introduced Internet bank transfer as an alternative way of payment.
Travellers on klm.com.sg now have access to a wider array of tickets with transparent pricing. Market research shows that price is the primary reason why customers choose to buy tickets online.
KLM’s best price guarantee entails that if a customer finds a lower fare online elsewhere for the same flight, itinerary and cabin with a price difference of at least S$10 (US$6), KLM will issue a travel credit voucher equal to the price difference plus S$100 for each ticket under the guarantee.
