Best Western brings loyalty programme to Asia


Best Western International has launched its popular guest loyalty programme, Gold Crown Club International, in Asia. Launched in the US over 15 years ago, GCCI has currently about four million members worldwide.

“As Best Western continues its expansion into the Asian market, it is a logical that we will also create the demand for a guest frequency programme as more travellers move about the continent,” said David Kong, Best Western senior vice president marketing and development.

The most popular benefit of GCCI is the global free room night award which allows GCCI members to earn a free stay in as few as 10 nights. The global free room night reward is redeemable any day of the week and has no blackout dates.

To inaugurate the Asia launch, its Asian airline partners THAI and Asiana will offer double miles with every two qualified stay – up to ten stays – till June 15.
