SINGAPORE - Helmed by nightlife impresario Steve Adelman, Avalon is poised to open its doors on 16 September 2011. The club's arrival in Singapore is the natural evolution for the iconic Hollywood nightclub, a celebrity playground that has combined leading International DJs, top concert acts and high profile special events for the likes of the Oscars, MTV Music Awards and the Grammy's. Following Avalon Hollywood's international reputationas the standard for the "big" nightclub experience, Avalon is set to bring a unique experience to the region.

Avalon is housed in the South Crystal Pavilion at Marina Bay Sands, totaling 17,000 square feet across two levels. Designed by New York's famed duo Roman and Williams, renowned for their unique designs and detailed aesthetics, the three dimensional diamond transports you to a glamorous and sensual place. The designers' holistic vision for the interior begins with tactile, warm textures that respond to the Moshe Safdie designed building, with hints of strong colors, custom furniture in wood and leather interlocks that break apart like crystal rock formations. The evocations of high fashion set it apart from the typical black box of a nightclub -even the columns in the VIP lounge are angled as an architectural feature, which will no doubt be danced on.

The combination of Avalon's state of the art lighting and sound, mixed with groundbreaking design, creates a unique model for a world class entertainment experience. The ambitious audio visual design featuring state-of-the-art full color lasers, 3D mapping, and nine variable trusses, will be the largest installation of it's kind worldwide.

Headlining acts such as a full live show by The Bloody Beetroots, British electronic pioneering legends Chemical Brothers, Kruder & Dorfmeister, M.A.N.D.Y, Benny Benassi, Massive Attack featuring Daddy G, Sander Kleinenbergand Boy George, just to name a few, will usher in a new era of entertainment in Southeast Asia as Avalon, not merely for revelry, but for lavish, endless state-of-the art entertainment.
