The magic of Harry Potter will be felt at the Warner Bros World Abu
Dhabi on Yas Island in the UAE, thanks to the development of a theme
land in its name, which is being developed by Miral.
Although no opening date has been given, the Harry Potter theme land
will be the first for the Middle East, joining other Warner Bros
attractions including Flintstones, Batman and Superman at the Yas Island
theme park.
Commenting of the partnership with Warner Bros Discovery, Miral
chairman Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, said he was excited to bring the
“spellbinding first” to the Middle East and the world in the future,
according to local media reports.
Not only would the Harry Potter themed land position Yas Island as a
top global destination for entertainment and leisure, Mohamed said it
would also help to expand the Emirates’ economic growth and
diversification.
Harry Potter has been a global phenomenon, with eight films based on
the best-selling book series, and has sold more than 600 million copies
worldwide.
