New nighttime spectacular "World of Color — One" will debut at Disney California Adventure park in Anaheim on 27 January part of the Disney100 celebration. A virtual queue will be used for entry.

The show itself will feature stories and music from Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar Animation Studios and the "Avengers" and "Star Wars" universes. It "celebrates how a single action, like a drop of water, creates a ripple that can grow into a wave of change," Disney said.

Water plays an important role in the show, which will be performed in Paradise Bay with projections on mist screens surrounded by fountains. Other show elements include laser, fog and flame effects.

"World of Color — One" will feature 18 musical compositions, including an original song, "Start a Wave." That song was written by Grammy-nominated artist Cody Fry with vocals by singer and actress Loren Allred.

Disney is encouraging guests to use a virtual queue feature on the Disneyland app to gain access to the show's viewing areas. The complimentary virtual queue will be available daily starting at noon for guests who have entered Disney California Adventure park or who have entered Disneyland park with a Park Hopper ticket.

While some walk-up viewing will be available, Disney said it is only on "a first-come, first-served basis."

Another nighttime spectacular, "Wondrous Journeys," debuts at Disneyland on 27 January as part of the Disney100 celebration.
