NEW DELHI - India’s outbound is showing a 15 percent growth post September 11 with Singapore, Hong Kong, Sri Lanka, Mauritius, Australia and New Zealand, the hot selling autumn and winter holiday destinations this year.

Unlike in the past, all-inclusive packages are on offer, more competitively priced reduced by 10 to 15 percent over the past year.

The appeal for Mauritius as a holiday destination has grown this season, following Emirates connecting it with Dubai. Packages include at least a day for that all-important activity, shopping. For instance the SOTC Kuoni package priced at $899, offers five days in Mauritus and three in Dubai. SOTC has already received 1,040 confirmed bookings for this deal.

The Australian package, despite the marginally higher cost associated with the destination, is doing well too.
