Those fortunate enough to be in the highest KrisFlyer frequent flyer
tier can get ready for something special at Singapore Airlines’ all-new
SilverKris and KrisFlyer Gold lounges at Changi Airport Terminal 3,
following a S$50 million (US$36 million) upgrade, and expansion project.
The Private Room is the ultra-exclusive retreat showcased by a custom
designed Lalique light dome that welcomes customers at the lobby. It
also offers fine dining experience.
Access to the Private Room is only to those flying on the carrier’s
own flights in the First Class or Suites cabin (as well as those
redeeming KrisFlyer miles for this privilege).
There are two welcome podiums at the new facility, one for First
Class and The Private Room guests, and the other for Business Class
lounge customers, who turn right instead of left.
The Private Room, the First Class section of the SilverKris Lounge,
the Business Class section of the SilverKris Lounge, and the KrisFlyer
Gold Lounge can collectively accommodate around 1,150 customers within
their 6,100 square-metres.
