COLOGNE – A German company is selling parts of the first-ever Airbus A380 to be scrapped - in the form of keyrings.
The aircraft in question was the first A380 to operate commercially, having been delivered to Singapore Airlines in 2007.
Aviationtag makes and sells key rings and luggage tags made from various aircraft types. The ex SIA aircraft has been turned into 7,000 keyrings, on sale at aviationtag.com for just €27.95 (US$30.2).
Aviationtags are strictly limited-edition, sport their own serial number and aircraft information.
Alongside commercial planes like the Boeing 747 or the Airbus A340, the company have also given historical aircraft a second life as an Aviationtag.
“This allows us to preserve important and interesting parts of aviation history,” the company says on its website.
