Singapore Airlines (SIA) is setting out on a different course for its flight services next year as travel recovery gets underway across Asia Pacific.

Frequencies to destinations across East Asia and Southeast Asia will be boosted, flights to Busan resumed, Airbus A380 services will increase to Australia during its summer season between 26 March to 29 October 2023, and the Boeing 777-300ER will replace the A380 on SIA’s New York service.

These changes mean that SIA will hit or even surpass pre-pandemic levels for flight frequencies across East Asia and Southeast Asia by March 2024, including Bangkok, Busan, Seoul, Fukuoka, Nagoya, Osaka, Ho Chi Minh City, Kuala Lumpur, Siem Reap, Taipei, and China.

Additionally, Australia will see a new daily A380 service and Sydney will get a second daily A380 service.

Southeast Asia
• Singapore-Phuket: Addition of fourth daily service operated by the Boeing 737-800NG from 26 March 2023.
• Singapore-Bangkok: Addition of fifth daily service operated by the A350-900 from 1 October 2023.

Southwest Pacific
• Singapore-Melbourne: The A380 returns to Melbourne after four years on 16 May 2023, replacing the Boeing 777-300ER.
• Singapore-Sydney: Addition of second daily service operated by the A380 from 17 May 2023.

Americas and Europe
• Singapore-Frankfurt-New York: The Boeing 777-300ER will replace the A380 from 15 May 2023.
• Singapore-Los Angeles: Flights will operate thrice weekly instead of daily from 26 March 2023.
