SINGAPORE - Scoot has completed its final checks – including flight trials - and is ready to move its operations to Singapore’s Changi Terminal 1 (T1) on Tuesday, Oct 22.
The airline says the move will facilitate its projected double-digit annual growth for the next three years.
Ng Chee Keong, Scoot’s chief operations officer, said the airline is “looking forward to welcoming over 10,000 customers at our new home on Oct.22”.
At the airport, informational standees have been placed at the T1 and T2 departure and arrival levels. On-board announcements for flights into Singapore have also been updated since Oct.1 to inform customers of the move to T1.
The last Scoot flight from T2 will be TR156 from Singapore to Shenyang, departing 2.55am local time on Oct 22. The first Scoot flight from T1 will be TR100 from Singapore to Guangzhou, departing 5.15am local time on October 22.
