New Belgian airline to launch inaugural flight to Hong Kong in March

The official launch of the airline will be in March in Hong Kong, after the operating licenses have been finalised. Air Belgium says it is committed to adding Mainland China destinations later in 2018.

Air Belgium will launch direct flights between Brussels South Charleroi Airport (BSCA) and Hong Kong International Airport, the start-up announced in a press conference today (February 1).

The official launch of the airline will be in March in Hong Kong, after the operating licenses have been finalised. Air Belgium says it is committed to adding Mainland China destinations later in 2018.

Air Belgium is a new Belgian airline for long-distance flights that will be offering direct flights between Belgium and Asia from the first half of 2018. 

The airline is headquartered in in Mont-Saint-Guibert (Walloon Brabant) and based at BSCA.
