Lufthansa has taken the wraps off its new First Class Suite Plus
concept, along with enhancements to Business and Economy cabins.
The carrier’s new Allegris long-haul products will be introduced in 2024 on the newly delivered Airbus A350s.
The First Class Suite Plus is a separate double cabin with
ceiling-high walls, a closable door and two wide seats that can be
combined into a comfortable double bed if required.
There will be just three first class suites on the A350s, with the
twin-berth ‘Suite Plus’ in the middle alongside a pair of more
conventional first class suites in a single 1-1-1 row.
Jens Ritter, CEO of Lufthansa Airlines said, "Every guest has their
own understanding of premium, which is why we focus on maximum
individuality and exclusivity. The First Class Suite Plus conveys the
feeling of privacy and individuality similar to a hotel room – only at
an altitude of eleven kilometres."

Guests in Lufthansa Business Class can also look forward to their own suite, with chest-high walls and sliding doors touted to offer comfort and privacy.
Among the Allegris enhancements are:
A new Premium Economy Class with a seat in a hard-shell design,
greater seat pitch (99cm), wireless charging, and noise-cancelling
headphones
Economy Class with improved seat pitch (79cm), tablet holders,
USB ports and additional comfort in the first rows (86cm seat pitch).
Upgraded IFEC with large 4K screens and Bluetooth connectivity in
all classes, plus touchpads for all seat and IFE controls that can be
mirrored to the personal devices of travellers.
