With an improvement in information exchange and more efficient use of data insights, this enables the airlines to take on “a more sophisticated approach to managing our operations, crew and the impact of disruptions. This in turn will help us improve profitability and customer loyalty,” said Benny Butarbutar, Garuda Indonesia’s vice president for corporate communications. 

Garuda Indonesia has signed with Sabre Corporation for a suite of technologies that can help optimise daily airline operations as it expands to new markets, according to statement released.

With an improvement in information exchange and more efficient use of data insights, this enables the airlines to take on “a more sophisticated approach to managing our operations, crew and the impact of disruptions. This in turn will help us improve profitability and customer loyalty,” said Benny Butarbutar, Garuda Indonesia’s vice president for corporate communications. 

In Q1 2016, Garuda Indonesia recorded a 13.4% increase in ‘Available Seat Kilometres’. Last year, it launched new routes to China, expanded capacity to Saudi Arabia, and added a strategic London Heathrow connection via Skyteam Alliance.
