Sometimes more is more, and bigger is better. More of everyone’s
favourite gargantuan aircraft – the A380 – is taking to the skies again
under Emirates’ progressive plan to ramp its global connectivity up to
full force again.
Emirates
is the world’s top airbus A380 operator, with 80 A380s currently in
active service. The airline currently operates the A380 to 40
destinations across the globe. By the end of this summer, its A380s will
operate in almost 50 destinations, restoring close to 90% of the
Emirates’ pre-pandemic A380 network.
The big return of Emirates’ A380s will start with the resumption of
services to Glasgow on 26 March, Nice on 1 June and Birmingham on 1 July
2023.
Beyond the massive passenger carrier, Emirates will also be resuming
its second daily service to Stansted from 1 May with the wide-body
Boeing 777-300ER aircraft that has been fitted with Emirates’ new First
Class Gamechanger cabin.
As Emirates reinstates the second daily flight to Stansted, the
airline will also increase connectivity to London with 11 daily flights,
including six times daily to London Heathrow and three times daily to
Gatwick.
