Cathay sets its sights on expansion in Europe

The new routes will be operated with Airbus A350-900s. Cathay has 18 A350-900s in operation with four more due for delivery by the end of the year.

Cathay Pacific will launch three new nonstop routes to Europe from Hong Kong starting with its summer 2018 schedule.

The new routes include: four-times-weekly Hong Kong-Brussels flights, four-times-weekly Hong Kong-Dublin flights and three-times-weekly Hong Kong-Copenhagen flights.

The Dublin connection from June will give Ireland its first direct Asia-Pacific route.
